Senior Quantity Surveyor Full Time

Client:

My client is a leading nationwide main contractor. They have a turnover of circa £1bn and employ thousands of people throughout the UK. They are looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team in their London office. The surveyor will manage a £100m+ new build residential project in West London. They will lead a commercial team of three you will be reporting into a Commercial Manager.

The role:

We are looking for a Surveyor with main contracting experience who has worked on new builds from £10 – 30m. Previous experience of working on residential project.

Experience Required

• Undertake costing activities, under direction, utilising a sound working knowledge of the cost structure for the project
• Measure completed works for allocated sections of the project, for interim and final accounts, including recording agreements with client and/or subcontract representatives
• Collate and / or produce site records necessary for interim and final account payments and cost reports, including materials received records
• Place subcontract orders in accordance with the main contract
• Provide comprehensive financial and surveying related information as required by senior management, including monthly performance review meetings
• Preparation and submission of valuations and final accounts Record all relevant events for delay and loss and expense claims
• Monitor and ensure that full payment is received for all work claimed and certified

RICS / CIOB professional membership
Previous experience on high value £20mil+ projects/ schemes
