The Company

This Project Engineer’s role is with a UK Tier 1 contractor operating primarily in the new build sector with projects ranging in value from £10 – £100m. Typical project types span most private and public sector works and this role is within their London projects division that focuses on residential, commercial and hospitality projects.

The Role

This is a £50m new build RC frame mixed used scheme in East London. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Oversee and support the Management of the works, specifically the Engineering elements.
• Ensure quality expectations are achieved in line with the Contract, Specification and Drawings. Writing and reviewing PQP’s, ITP’s and overseeing implementation
• Provide information to operatives and Sub-Contractors and co-ordinate the works with all parties.
• To implement the works in line with the Contract Programme and inputting into and drafting Programmes for the works using Asta.
• Undertake Material Quality checks for compliance, and reconciliations.
• Interpret and produce drawings/sketches at the commencement of the works, showing setting out controls, site levels, and grid locations of existing services
• Schedule & prepare reinforcement & concrete take offs to suit site progress, including reconciliation’s
• Keep and maintain records for area of responsibility: Daily Diary, Inspection Records, As Built Drawings, Cube Results

Having worked on RC Frame projects is essential.
