This Assistant Quantity Surveyor’s opportunity is with one of the Southeast’s leading drylining contractors. They have established themselves as being one of the go to contractors in the fit-out market and are currently going from strength to strength. They have recently won a number of major projects and are keen to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with drylining experience to join the team.

The Role:

Your main role will be to maximise the commercial position of the project and your duties will include assisting a Senior Quantity with the following:

• Review contract terms and conditions, identifying risk and enhancing opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all aspects of the contract.
• Identify, qualify and management the agreement process of any change.
• Cash flow forecasting, submission and receipt of payments
• Monitor and forecast costs and revenue
• Provide accurate reporting of costs.
• Develop and maintain positive long-term relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Negotiate the settlement of the final account.
• Ensure all necessary records and reports are generated and maintained.
• Assist in any dispute resolution process.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience within the fit out and refurb sector
• An understanding of JCT forms of contract
• Good knowledge and understanding of Word and Excel packages.
