Position: Bid Writer – Essex Social Housing Refurbishment

Salary: £45k – £55k + Package

Location: Romford

Bid Writer required by Main Contractor based in Essex..

Working as part of the Bid Team, the role will develop and produce creative and innovative proposal documents that meet customer’s needs and aspirations. This person will help translate operational practice and procedures into plain English proposals that sell the business to a predominately social housing market place.

Duties will include:

• Writing and compiling a range of proposal documents including tender, bids and pre-qualification questionnaires.
• Working with Bid Managers and Operational Directors to ensure the bids and PQQs are tailored to meet the customers needs
• Adherence to bid processes
• Working with designers and photographers to ensure that reputation for leading edge communications material is built upon.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive library of industry related information.
• Adhere to all legislative procedures.
• Layout, edit and production of bid documents
