Contract Support – Commercial Fit-Out

About the Role

We are looking for an organised and commercially minded Contract Support professional to join our growing fit-out team in London.

Working closely with the Contracts Managers, Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, site teams and subcontractors, you will provide essential administrative and commercial support across a range of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative and commercial support to Contracts and Project Managers.
• Assist with the preparation and issuing of subcontractor orders, purchase orders and work orders.
• Maintain accurate project records, trackers and contract documentation.
• Assist with raising and processing applications, invoices and payment documentation.
• Monitor subcontractor and supplier information, ensuring documentation is received and up to date.
• Assist with obtaining quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Help track project costs, variations, orders and commitments.
• Assist with preparing project reports, meeting minutes and progress updates.
• Coordinate information between the commercial team, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintain document control and ensure the latest drawings and project information are circulated to the relevant teams.
• Assist with variations, valuations and change-control processes.
• Support the Contracts Manager with project correspondence and general contract administration.
• Attend project and subcontractor meetings where required.
• Maintain Excel trackers and provide accurate information to the commercial team.
• Help ensure projects are delivered in accordance with company procedures, programme and contractual requirements.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Comfortable communicating with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong numerical and administrative skills.
• Proactive, reliable and willing to take responsibility.
• Interested in developing a career within construction and commercial fit-out.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Previous experience in construction, fit-out, property, facilities management, contract administration or project support would be advantageous.

A construction-related qualification such as HNC/HND, degree, NVQ or similar would also be beneficial, although relevant practical experience will be considered.
