Position:              Document Controller

Location:             London (Oxford Street)

Salary:                 £35,000 – £38,000 + package

The Company

An exciting opportunity as one of UK’s largest Construction firms in their London office. A highly successful company working on some of the UK’s most prestigious construction projects with an annual turnover more than £1bn and over 2000 employees nationwide.

You will be working on a £60m office project. They are looking for someone with previous experience working as a Document Controller ideally for a well-known main contractor.

The role

We are looking for a Document Controller who has been working with a main contractor previously who is happy to work in Central London.

You will be responsible for;

• Setting up the EDMS on new sites, archiving of site documentation, recording and numbering appropriately to ensure everything is traceable.
• Managing more junior members of the document control team and providing technical advice on Asite to other Document Controllers
• Maintain site registers of design reviews, generate document numbers
• Quality checking all documentations & communication.
• Issuing communication status and any Ad Hoc administration duties if needed while Liaising with other teams.
• Providing training and workshops to colleagues on ASite
• A solid knowledge of ASite is required
