Project Manager – Fit Out/Retail Permanent

Profile

We are looking for experienced Project Manager’s to work on a permanent basis for a prestigious multi award winning tier 1 main contractor who have a strong foot hold in both the Retail and Commercial sectors.

Due to their success over recent years where they have delivered some impeccable schemes, they have recently secured several new long term frameworks, which now puts them in a fantastic position to start investing in new teams for 2024’s kick off.

The Role

We are looking for Project Manager’s who have experience of running Retail / Commercial or MOJ schemes to work on Major fit-out projects across the UK

Your duties will include:

• Oversee all site activities and monitor progress against the programmer.
• Ensure the effective close out with Site Manager and make sure the snagging commences as specified.
• Monitor and inspect the quality of work to ensure high standards of quality are achieved
• Keep up to date and complete site records
• Identify potential issues which will affect successful project delivery and take necessary action as appropriate.
• Work closely with the Commercial team to monitor the financial status of the project.
• Liaise with Site Manager to manage performance of direct reports and sub-contract labour, ensuring they are working safely and efficiently.
• To manage the communication of all necessary information.
• Ensure HSQE standards, operating processes, company policies and all legislative requirements are understood, implemented and adhered to at all times.
• Responsible for the safety of the public, when working in a live environment.
• Co-ordinate the activities of different sub-contractors to ensure work is carried out efficiently and oversee performance to ensure work is completed on schedule and to the right standard.
