Quantity Surveyor – Fit Out

Profile

This Quantity Surveyor position is with a big hitting, high flying Tier One Main Contractor who time after time have delivered excellence in Construction and Fit Out projects across the UK. They are going through a very good period currently of successful bids and tenders and projects commencing, and as such are looking to add to their team.

Role

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who have proven experience of working on commercial or retail fit out schemes and has the right attitude and aspirations to develop into a top class Surveyor.

These projects in Kent will be on fast paced Retail Fit Out schemes and provide both a strong pipeline of work, as well as plenty of opportunity to further develop personally.

Key Experience:

• Measurement and valuation
• Administration of contract methods
• Subcontract / materials orders and buying
• Contract obligations
• Ability to form and develop relationships with PQS, design team and supply chain
• Commercial skills, maximising value recovery, cost control and cash management
• Good interpersonal skills ­ ability to work effectively with site management and the rest of the team
• Ability to use / understand financial reports and final accounts
