The Opportunity

Are you a high-performing Framework Manager or Sector Specialist within healthcare construction who feels restricted by corporate red tape, rigid KPIs, or a lack of clear upward mobility?

Our client, a leading privately owned Tier 1 main contractor with an exceptional £10bn+ order book, is heavily investing to scale their healthcare footprint. Following a major strategic overhaul, they are seeking a Healthcare Framework Lead to spearhead this national growth mandate.

This is a strategic, business development-led position focused on market growth, work winning, and relationship-building, rather than a process-oriented or administrative-heavy role. You will be the face of the sector, driving new wins and scaling the contractor’s footprint nationwide, with a direct, mapped-out pathway to Director and Board-level leadership.

This role can be based anywhere in the UK, offering complete geographical flexibility alongside hybrid working. As this is a national growth mandate, a willingness to travel across the UK to interface with regional teams and clients is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead and execute the contractor’s strategic healthcare growth and framework delivery plan.
• Act as the primary strategic interface for high-value public sector healthcare frameworks, driving active business development and client engagement.
• Collaborate closely with a premium pre-construction and bid writing team to secure major clinical refurbishments and flagship schemes.
• Travel nationally to foster high-level client relationships, ensuring operational delivery teams maintain the contractor’s reputation for excellence.

About You

• A proven track record of successfully working with healthcare frameworks within a Tier 1 main contractor environment.
• Deep knowledge of the healthcare construction landscape, NHS compliance, and public sector procurement.
• Exceptional strategic capability, with a strong commercial acumen and a preference for business development over administrative grind.
• Full flexibility to travel across the UK as required to meet framework and project demands.
• A natural relationship builder who can align pre-construction, commercial, and delivery teams.
