Ski Sunday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
We love to share the love here at Velocity. Part of that is coming up with creative, motivating programmes that help our team to develop personally and to recognise and reward their best efforts. It’s the tenet behind the success of Velocity Recruitment and what makes us stand out as one of the most successful recruitment firms within the built environment.
So, this year’s annual Velocity City Club recognition scheme winners were James Targett, MIRP and Rob Groves, MIRP who in addition to smashing their annual targets and qualifying for the Annual City Club Incentive (which was a Ski Trip to Zell am See in Austria), both got big promotions this year to Senior Consultant and Principle Consultant respectively.
James said: “I’d always wanted to go skiing but was put off by the cost and the hassle of organising. So it was great that Dave & Martin heard that and tailored the incentive to give me the opportunity to try something I’d always wanted to do but never had the chance to. That’s what I like about Velocity Recruitment, it’s such a personal company that when they reward their employees it’s not just a generic voucher or cheque with no thought, but more an opportunity to tick something off your own personal bucket list and learn a new life skill”.
The Velocity City Club recognises Velocity Recruitment team members on a quarterly and annual basis, with main events such as skiing, and quarterly events like a Race Track day. This is in addition to regular team building activities – a trip to the crazy golf, Putt Shack, Chinese Karaoke to name just a few activities.
The company’s City Club delivers bespoke incentives to the team, each one being tailored with the individuals in mind. Rob added: “Dave and Martin know I am a keen skier, so I think they was excited to reward me in such a way. Everything was great; the skiing, scenery, food and Après Ski”.
Now the race has turned to the first quarter of 2022 and the company’s next quarterly award announcement.
